I saw a rock island 1911 tactical 9 mm hc shoots 17 rounds ANY ONE HAVE ONE or have info on this pistol one of idpa guys had it at match yesterday shot really well said come with all the mods around 700. Havent been able to find on the net

Nope got a standard FS Rock Island tactical in 45, wasn't overly impressed with the out of box quality to be honest, but that could have been just this pistol.
actually i didn't think i would like a High caapcity 1911 until I ran across a Dan Wesson Pointman High capacity (14 +1 round) used at a good price.
As I have wanted a Dan wesson 1911 for quite some time after i fondled it i was hooked.
It is quite an impressive piece of work, but scarce as hens teeth to find i understand.
I think springfield also makes a HC in the 1911?
