Welcome to the Forum!

PT909's will use PT92/PT100 Grips. PT911 and PT940 Grips are the same.

Pricing any good handgun in the current market is a bit of a roll of the dice, but $600 for a NIB SS PT909 is a bit high for me, but maybe not to someone with cash to burn.
All prices on everything are very high. Another factor is that PT909's are scarce.

Altamont makes some great grips for both of these models. (Altamont Company) and well priced.

The PT909 is a fantastic pistol, it has a very natural feel to the hand. The PT911 is also an amazing smaller framed choice. I have 2 of the 909 both in stainless and 3 of the 911, 2 in stainless and 1 in the blue finish. I wish I had picked up another in blue before the prices went nuts and the inventory depleted.

As for $600 for a new PT909 in stainless with the pearl grips, my gut tells me that is high, but then everthing in the firearms market is high right now. That being said, it is a discontinued model, a metal and alloy frame, the pearl grip option was not all that common. So if it is with in what you feel is worth buying...then jump on it.

I bought a SS PT911 for $379 brand new in the box form Robertson Trading Post thru gunsamerica.com
Me to. I picked up a blue version and a stainless both from Robersons. If they still had any, I would have a few more. They just feel right!!!!
I took the blue and stainless...swapped some parts and pieces around and came up with two mirror image pistols. I really like the way they turned out.

I bought a blued one first. Then decided that if I boughy my wife a new gun, then It would be my turn again. She likes shiney. I am fixing it up with hot pink grips and finger groves for her for valentines.

Last time I talked to Robertsons they still had a bunch in stainless and blued. Anybody wanting one still have a chance at a good price. I saw others close to $500

I did Google Robinsons Trading Post and went to their website. They do indeed still show the to have the PT911 in stock in both blue and stainless. The prices have gone up as one would expect with the current market demand for a high capacity mag pistol. At the current price they are still a great pistol for the money, however since I already own three, I just be happy with what I have...for now.
