The rear sight blade fell out of my 94 and I need a new rear sight.

Taurus will only sell me the whole assembly for it. They want $42.08 for the sight and $8.75 for shipping.

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket sight assembly for these small frame revolvers?

What? Really?

The exact same thing happened to my 94 back 6 or 7 years ago. Or maybe it was longer ago, I forget. I lost the rear sight out in the dirt while shooting during my first session. I called up Taurus and they sent me a free sight with free shipping. I think might have returned the whole assembly for them to install it, but I don't entirely recall all of the details. I know it didn't cost me anything, except maybe for shipping the assembly back to them.

I love my Taurus revolvers (and I have many), but once I got the sight fixed on this one, I promptly sold my 94 Ultra-Lite. Maybe it was an over-reaction, but the sight coming off and the horrible trigger pull convinced me I didn't want it anymore. Anyway, good luck with it. See if you can convince them to do what they did for me.
