Don't toss it in the mail unless you have a FFL. It would be a Federal Felony to do so.
They said nothing of the sort. They just said it had to be next day or 2 day UPS or FEDEX... I assume they receive and ship firearms all the timeDon't toss it in the mail unless you have a FFL. It would be a Federal Felony to do so.
Oh really? Cause USPS is alot cheaper overnight then ups or fedex. I was actually hoping to do that instead. Why not USPS?You need to send it FexEX or UPS not the postal service.
Postal regulations restrict mailing firearms via the post office to FFL holders only!Oh really? Cause USPS is alot cheaper overnight then ups or fedex. I was actually hoping to do that instead. Why not USPS?

Which is not "tossing it in the MAIL".They said nothing of the sort. They just said it had to be next day or 2 day UPS or FEDEX... I assume they receive and ship firearms all the time
OK so bad wording on my behalf... nonetheless, its being shipped out. I found fedex will only charge 20.18. I live in FL so its not too far lolWhich is not "tossing it in the MAIL".
They told you to use a "common carrier" which is what non-FFL's must use to ship handguns.
Good deal.OK so bad wording on my behalf... nonetheless, its being shipped out. I found fedex will only charge 20.18. I live in FL so its not too far lol
one would think that they could have built the gun without the external button on the slide latch and it would still work just the way you described. however the external button was included, makes me think that they did intend for it to be used as a release. i see no reason not to use that way, or that it shouldn't work when used as such.As for the slide lock, thats exactly what it is, a lock, not a release. The best way is the drop the mag at least partially, if it's empty, pull the slide back and reease it.
