Just got this Taurus 992 a few days ago. Finally going to be able to take it out and shoot it this Memorial Day.

I was looking for the 992 in Stainless, these guns are very hard to come by as you know.. I really wanted one, so I got the one and only they had. The blue is a sharp looking revolver as well.

Let you know how I make out on Memorial Day, I can't wait.

I have looked at a few of those as of late. My biggest hang up is the shortage of ammo for it......never thought I would be saying that about .22 ammo.

I been eyeing a used 6" 992 in SS at the LGS, very reasonly priced but the .22 ammo shortage has me held off from buying it. Been looking at a Rossi R97206 SS there too and I can cast my own bullets to reload this pile of brass I have. Maybe it will follow me home next trip....

That should make a fine squirrel hogleg! Years ago I would take my Herters 22SA out hunting squirrels and put many a mess of them on the table with it!
