In December I bought one ea. PT111 and PT140 SS. Tried to run SN then and no show. Went ahead and registered with Taurus for warranty purposes and figured they'd eventually show up (all my other Tauri when new and SN run on site showed). It's no biggie - I have the pistols in hand, just thought weird they were no shows. Maybe they're Chinese counterfeit Tauri!! LOL

Probably illegal guns. I'll dispose of them properly after you send them to me. I'm a nice guy that way. :D

Taurus is kind of slow with updating their serial number lookup database. I'm not sure if it's because they wait for sale confirmation through the ATF or if someone is just lazy. If the gun is too new it can take up to roughly 3 months for it to show up. Chances are that they were just the last couple in the production line for the Mil-Pro's of 2012.

Montkun, I suspect you're correct considering how they keep their repair info updated on site.LOL

I expect both were made in 2012, and considering import, shipping, etc. I would think before USA summertime to make the circuitous route from Brazil to SATX sales outlet. You would think that any Taurus imported gun manifest would be easily downloaded into their database, whether sold or not. May be I'm expecting too much.

Both of OP subject pistols now show on web site and both from 2012. Amazingly they are noted as correct models, too! LOL

I just bought an 845. How do you look up the serial number? I assume you mean on TaurusUSA.com?
