I've been looking for a good candidate for a 22LR pistol. I had really bad luck with the first one I rolled the dice with, and that was 10 years ago. I ran across this little orphan in a gun shop, it looked like somebody bought it and didn't even shoot it once. The color is called green splatter, which I thought was really unique. It came with two 10 round mags, and a mag loader which works good enough. I can't wait to get this out and shoot it, it feels really good in my hand. I picked up two spare 16 round mags from gunmagwarehouse-dot-com, last week.

Yes, it is. Came from Taurus like that.
Wow, I did not know they made fancy colors like that. I remember the G2 coming in all kinds of colors, but not the TX22 and not with the blood-spatter. I'm sure the gun-grabbers think that is marketing to kids or something.

Surely that isn't a factory color scheme, is it?
For those that purchase these TX22’s insure that you pay attention to how the rounds stack. If you notice in the pictures the rounds are offset one on top of the other. If not the rounds won’t chamber correctly. Also once loaded ensure you tap the mags against your palm to make sure they are seated all the way back.
I also had a problem while using hollow point ammo. The problem was the front edge of the magazine has a very sharp square edge. To fix this I took a small half round file and created a ramp to allow those rounds to load correctly.
