To myself. I bought this PT945 from Bud's and picked it up yesterday.

I added a Pearce finger groove insert for a gvt 1911 that I had to cut down to fit.
I got what I wanted for Christmas. Hope everyone else dose too.

I have two of the Pt-945 pistols, one is the stainless, gold and pearl handle bling version. The other looks like yours, except it doesn't have the finger groove addition......YET!!
I took mine out a week or so ago, it shoots perfect on straight even par with my Colt Defender. But for 1/3 of the price of the Defender. I can't figure out why these are so unappreciated, they are excellent pistols at an unbelieveable value.

I do have an extra Hogue rubber grip with the finger grooves for a 1911. How did you go about cutting the grips to fit, if you don't mind sharing.

I don't think the Hogue will work. The Pearce insert is much thinner and made to go on under the grips. I cut just under the top hole and made the bottom hole bigger then punched out a new top hole. Used the grips to mark where I needed to make the new holes.
