100 yard was too constricted from where the bench is/was.
This is what I would see through the scope.
Red cross is where the target stand goes.

Can't cut down the tree. Well, I could, but do not want to chance it falling the wrong way.
I can make it fall any way I want, but other trees could deflect it or get it hung up before hitting the ground.
Too many other trees to cut to clear a path for it.
DUH! MOVE THE BENCH!
6 feet to the right.

This is what I'll see at 100 yards as soon as I finish moving it.

And the 50 yards target from the new location.

Wow! A range, and trees! The best of both worlds. Trees are a little scarce around here you know. :D

OK. Finished. To answer all the questions.
First, about no berm. Satellite View.
EDIT: Corrected path. Accounts for Magnetic Deviation from True North. (8 degrees East of Magnetic North)

NADA in the bullet path except more trees, and 100 yard target is 18" off the ground and shooting from 36" height so bullet grounds in ~200 yards if a tree doesn't stop it.
Neighbor that owns the land where the 100 yard target is located is OK with it. Actually he was going to clear out some land for HIS range. Guess I saved him the trouble.
He hasn't been over to shoot yet, all he has is .40 handgun, no rifle.
What it looks like at the 100 yard spot.

Target goes below broken tree under the white paint.

This is behind the target at the height of the target. YUP! Cut down a small tree.

Looking over the broken tree.

Finished moving and leveled.

Been hearing lots of gunshots while I was working on it.
Nice day for shooting. 71 degrees. Sunny. Very little wind.

gwk1951, nice way to live.

Here's mine. Inside the red line is my and my brother's property. We own equal shares. The yellow line is my 110 yard range. It's 590ish yards to the next neighbor over the hill.

When we get deep snow, or when I don't feel like going out to staple targets, I just shoot steel.

NAH! A good 10 feet to the left.
Pool is for the ducks.
Hmmmmmm............
What if I "missed" the target one time? Roast Duck?
No, don't think so. She Who Must Be Obeyed would be seriously P.O.'d.

I'm planning on making one this up coming spring.

I only have 140 +/- acres to work with though, so it will probably max out at 100 yards - but I do plan on clearing a 8 foot wide 250 yard long shooting trail for hunting deer.

The "turnip Patch" is where I shoot my handguns now. It's a small clearing about 80' long by 55 ' wide. My son and i go there to shoot my handguns and our 22 lr rifles

You should black out your coordinates.
