Yesterday I took a drive up to Denver to hang out with my brother. We always check armslist for some of our favorite guns. When we did we stumbled on a gentleman listing a black on black OSS .40. Long story short, I offered him $350 and walked away with one hell of a nice gun for the price.

I have already purchased the desert tan OSS in .45, so I knew what I was getting into. Here are some pics.


We already had a reservation at an indoor gun range, so I got to fire it 30 min after purchase. I have never shot a gun with this kind of accuracy. The last picture is a 10 round group from 10 yards. That is a nice group for a gun I had shot less than 50 round through. I am impressed.

Anyone in Colorado looking for a 740 slim? There will be one listed on armslist soon.

Thank you. I only looked for this one because the 740 is on vacation in Florida. They are waiting for a new trigger bar to arrive so that they can fix it.

I am glad they took their time.

Say what? I conceal mine. It actually rides and conceals very well.

I would also keep the 740. My 24/7 OSS in .45 is my second favorite pistol right behind my PT1911.

The OSS is not too large to conceal - I carry one every day.
Congrats on the gun. The OSS is just about my favorite handgun. Enjoy.

You will find one. Hell, this is the second one I have found in the last month and a half. The first one was .45 in Desert Tan for $500. The second was the one I have here.
