I'm late today since I had a doctor's appointment but here is one of my favorite pieces of classical music.

I've always liked the 1812 Oveture. The music is moving and if you close yuor eyes it can bring all kinds of notions to your mind. For me many of those notions are from Warner Brothers cartoons. Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fud, Daffy Duck, Wiley Coyote, Porky Pig, etc. Warner Brothers used a lot of classical music in their early cartoons because it depicted movement, anticipation, solitude, and jubilation!

Theah, theah, theah, that's all folks!

It makes me think about the Battle of Waterloo.
