Taurus has always built above average 1911 pistols, IMHO. I would like to see them enter into the medium and mini sized 1911 category with 9mm, 40, and 45 cal versions. Heck, a 32 mag might even be desirable to some folks. If one considers the number of "Gimmick" Gun designs that Taurus has introduced and struggled with or discontinued, why not stick to a platform with a proven record.

And don't get me started on the PT945 either.

In the past Taurus had 9mm and .38 Super 1911's. Not sure if they still offer a 9mm or not.

Seeing as 10mm Auto seems to be making a comeback, Taurus would be foolish not to get in on the action by offering a PT1911 chambered in the cartridge.

If they were to offer a PT1911 in 10mm Auto, then they would most certainly have my attention, especially considering that 10mm 1911s with the amount of features the PT1911 offers tend to go for $1000+, so if they could bring one to market at around $700-750 MSRP, then they could really cash in on the renewed interest in the 10mm Auto cartridge.
