My first post as a member, sorry it is problem related, but I took my model 98
to the range and put about 100 rounds through it, really love the gun I inspected the gun and
cleaned it before hand. The problem is that one out of the eight cases one was bulged near the rim
they all extracted with no problem. The bulged spent cases would only fit in one chamber
of the cylinder. seems to me the cylinder was improperly bored in production
Sorry for the oversize pic

I would say your assessment is correct

I have put about 400 rds through it so far without any problems
spent shells eject with no problems , I think I might just live with it
rather then go through all the trouble, and lost time involved in sending
it back. I really like the gun

I think that I would send it back. It may burst a case in that oversized chamber and you could get hurt....
