Rossi revolvers are VERY underated by the S&W, Ruger crowd. They went through a little down spell in the late 80s, early 90s in fit and finish, but they were always decent shooting guns, functional, reliable. I think the Taurus acquisition did 'em good where fit and finish are concerned. They're danged good revolvers now days and not just "for the money". People lament the passing of the 6 shot colt D frames. Well, I don't. The 6 shot Rossis are quite good guns and fill that niche well for a good price to boot.
Thanks for your reply Texan, I am familiar with the smith-ruger crowd have been some heated discusions with them on another forum, have been a Taurus fan for ovr 15 years now, had a model 66 Taurus that just refused to get worn out since I reload put many hundreds or thousands of rounds through it
