I picked up the Model 80 I mentioned in an earlier thread. Thought y'all might like to see it.





Cleaned it up after I got it home. Now I hope to get it to the range Monday, weather permitting.

Cajunbass, great looking example of an early Model 80. That old Taurus looks brand new! Those serrations, that have been kicked around lately, are quite evident in the photos and really enhance the "looks" of the gun. The checkering in the grips is sharp and new looking. You even have the original box! Great find and buy! David

Dabney, I don't think it had ever been fired. When I cleaned it when I got it home, all I got out of it was dust.

However, it has been fired now. I took it down the hill with a half a box of 158 gra RNFP lead reloads and did a little plinking with it. It worked just fine. :D
