I was considering buying this gun and wondered what those that own one think of it. I reload for the 45 Colt and own several other Ruger revolvers and a Winchester levergun in this caliber. I really like this caliber. What intrigues me about this gun is the possible concealability of a large bore revolver. I know they are not made anymore and saw a stainless one the other day for sale. What would be a fair price for one in like new condition?

Thanks for your input.

The 450's are sweet. Been looking locally for one along with a 445 (.44 Special)

If it's like new then I'd think a fair price is between $325-375. However, I'd be willing to go up to $450 to get my hands on one.

Snafu, yep...my box model number says 2-460049, but I just refer to it as Tracker .45 Colt.

And they are hard to find these days on the used market...them that's gottem, keep 'em.

TB C45

Finally found a used leather holster, a Safriland No. 25 that supposed to fit a Colt something another??? Had to stretched the leather snap-strap to fit...but it work's for me now. Can take the Tracker .45 Colt, or the Taurus model 441 in .44 special.

Model 441...

I got a Taurus 450 Total Titanium for $329 out the door. I like shooting it so much that I decided to start reloading. Just got a Lee Challenger press off of Ebay and now trying to locate a set of dies. The pistol is real easy to shoot and carry. I carry it as my off duty gun. I imagine if I have to use it self defense it would knock somebody's d!ck into their watch pocket.

Same here! But I've had a blued 445 for a few years now. A major plus is the lack of porting.

I want a 450SS badly, but all I ever see at shows are the titanium. Since I'm not a prolific poster, it will be a while before I can see the classifieds here. If one comes up in the meantime, I'm sure you'll give it a good home.
