What was the fuel source? What type of fuel? How was it lubricated? Where was the exhaust? How was it started?

A lot of questions on this. However, it was neat to watch the video. Thanks.

Edit Note: Where were the head gaskets? I saw no gaskets at all.

The exhaust is the 4 pipes sticking up in the air.
Maybe such precision doesn't need gaskets.
If you put 2 absolutely polished flat pieces of metal together, you can't pull them apart, you have to slide one across the other to separate them.
I forget the name of the effect.

Found it.

I can't say I saw any wiring for spark or glow plugs.
Could maybe run on model airplane fuel? 2 stroke?

My best guess is the engine is run off of compressed air as there was no fuel system nor ignition system.

It may be run on compressed air as Jake suggests or just driven electrically to show that it actually rotates as it should.

^^^This^^^. If you view it on the youtube site and read the comments, it's powered by compressed air. I wondered too because I didn't see any provision for water cooling.
