do anyone know if Taurus offers a discount program like GL**K offers for military members and Law Enforcement? I know they do the free NRA membership with purchase.

I have not seen one from Taurus, but most other makers offer such programs.

Over the past year I have purchased a few Rugers from a Ruger authorized law enforcement dealer at deeply discounted prices.

Check your larger police supply stores as many (but NOT all) are authorized LE dealers for major makers.

Typically there is a poster or sign at the counter displaying the programs, and there will be multiple prices on the tags in the case.
Generally, the manufacturers rebate the discounts to the dealer, OR sell them at the discounted price but restrict the sales to only those eligible for the discount.

Check out GT Distributors - America's Law Enforcement supply specialist

GT Distributors is located in Rossville, GA. which is just outside Chattanooga. They are great folks to do business with.
Good Grief! Let me warn you about GT. They also have stores in Austin and Garland/Dallas. My wife has learned to NEVER let me go there, especially by myself. GT forces me to buy "stuff" and load up my car for the 300 mile trip home. A cheap trip visiting my kids and grandkids becomes expensive after being forced to go to GT's.

On my last two trips to GT, they had several Ruger models with LE pricing. One of trips they forced me to purchase a Ruger SR1911 at the LE price, which is now my duty carry pistol. On my next visit, with my wife in tow, GT forced me to purchase a Ruger SR40C in stainless, at the LE price, which is currently on my hip IWB. My wife somewhat consented to this purchase with the sarcastic, "you do have a birthday coming up".

When ammo is plentiful (I have not been there since the current craziness), they have had pallet loads of ammo cans of 5.56 at good prices, as well as cases of handgun ammo at decent prices. HP duty ammo is often limited to 2 boxes, due to shortages, so I buy 2 and my wife buys 2. Look for a bargain shelf of markdowns - holsters and other fun things. In the Austin store I purchased duty mag pouches, and discontinued holsters at bargain prices. If the timing is right, you might also happen to luck out at a large quantity of police trade-ins, which has been my downfall. more than once. I really didn't need that big "like new", bargain priced SIG, with the night sights, holster, extra mags, and other accessories, but the evil spirits at GT made me buy it!

GT, along with Cabela's, Fry's Electronics, MEI MicroCenter, and similar stores are the work of the devil - they draw me in and then force me to buy "stuff". They are almost as bad as Costco and Sam's Club - every time I go to Sam's, Sam Walton's ghost puts the muzzle of a pistol in my ear and makes me throw all of that stuff in my basket.

If you do go to GT, leave your budget at home, as it will likely be broken.

Wow I wouldn't have guessed. I knew Sam Walton was evil. "Wal-Mart" is an ancient Latin phrase that means "spend $100". Even if I go for toilet paper I spend $100. I need to make a map of these places so I can look into it. LEO pricing requires further investigation.

I've heard about these places - the staff trains in hypnosis and they have a Xanax mist in the HVAC - something about observing your eye blink rate until the right moment - enter with caution!!! A respirator, foil hat and mirrored aviator glasses is supposed to help - some.
