At my local gun shop they have Magtech .45 ammo for $19.99 for a box of 50. Nothing I have seen around here for less than $23-$27 a box of FMJ. I guess I will be selling a Taurus PT-140 and XD .40. I hate tough times when I have to sell guns. Hopefully I won't have to sell them all!

My bro just bought a box of 380 at the lgs with a new Bersa Thunder. Out of that box he did have several mis-feeds. But all Remingtons went right through. I have never shot magtec.

I know how you feel on selling your guns. I just sold my 845, XD40, and 1911MS at Christmas. Its a hard thing to do.

I have some old Magtech silver box from the late '90's.

My Auto Ordinance GI(repo) 1911 liked it but haven't fired it in my PT1911AL as of yet.

I shot a lot of it in .45 Colt, @ $18 and $19. Saved all the brass until I had enough for my reloading uses. Last I saw awhile back was $28 or $30 a box of 50. Good ammo though, in my opinion.

I have used mag tech in various wepaons and it seems to be on par with other more prominent companies, now i am speaking of thier range stuff!
When i got my 1911 in 38 super Mag tech and Remington were about all to be found locally.
both were 130 gr +P and both worked just fine in the gun, couldn't really tell any difference in the accuracy, recoil or anything else.
Wally world here as the best price on 45 acp ammo at about 18.50 per box.

The Magtech 230 fmj is #1 on my short list that my Mil-Pro PT-145 don't like. Several FTF & FTE, ran some through my old 1911-A1 and they were ok though.

I've sure shot a lot of MagTech ammo in 9mm, 45 colt and 45acp. Never had a problem with it at all. Even shot some 45 colt cowboy loads through both my Rossi 92 rifle as well as my Uberti 45 colt single action pistol.

I have ran 300 rounds through my 24/7 G2 40 with absolutely no problem, I have also ran a few hundred through my PT99 as well with no problems. I just picked up 100 rounds for my 38 special but have not shot any of it yet.

I've used MagTech Ammo in 9mm, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, and .45 ACP, with very good results and no problems. I heartily recommend it!

I've also used MagTech Brass and Primers in my Reloads with excellent results and no problems!

My 945 ran through 100 rounds with no problems, and my Hi-Point had no troubles with the 50 9mm's I fed it either. Wasn't all that dirty compared to Winchester White Box.

The only problem I have had with Magtech is the .22 lr, where the fulminate was dislodged or missing completely. (maybe 1 or 2 in 100 rounds).

Centrefire .357, .45LC and .45ACP, and .44mag and special - no problems.

Magtech is one of my favorites. Whenever I catch it on sale, I call the store to check on availability, then do a bee-line to buy.

I have used their 38's and 357's with no problems of course autos can sometimes be finicky about what they like!
