I might be posting this in the wrong forum. Sorry if I did. I've noticed a little "catch" when i open the cylinder. It almost feels like it is scrapping something when I open it. The cylinder seems to operate smoothly while firing, Ive not noticed unusual marks anywhere and the gun is clean. Maybe it has always been this way and I just now noticed. My mind does tend to wander now and then. Has anyone else noticed this in theirs? If so what did you do to correct it or is this just the nature of the beast? Thanks ahead of time for any info you might have.

Check to see that the ejector rod is snug in the crane. If it's starting to loosen, it gets longer, and can give that feeling. Secondly, look at the heat shield behind the cylinder, it may have the beginnings of a shiny line there, from the rear lock-up dragging across it. This is normally a minimal thing. Make sure that the gun is properly lubed, though.
