I've three OSS pistols. Only the 9mm had a problem. The barrel/slide lock up was torn to crap from being badly fitted. So every time it cycled the lock up was getting chewed up and causing a head space issue.
Once Taurus fixed it, it has ran great. Both .45's have also been great and all three have not had any accuracy issues. They were the reason I parted with my Glock 34. All three were more accurate. To bad Taurus didn't make a G2 for either model.
I have an OSS DS .45 that has had to be sent back twice. I love this gun and shoot it well. Really accurate.
I've been afraid to shoot it for over a year because if it breaks again I can't get it fixed.
The wife told me if I wasn't going to shoot it, it might as well be broke now. DUH!! She's right.
So I took it out yesterday and shot the stuffing out of it and had a ball. Nothing broke!!!!
