I'm looking for someone who is really up on the laws in LA to tell me when and where I can and can't carry.

I know my TX laws fairly well, but have not had any training or anything on any LA laws. I am in LA more than I like being without the gun. I don't carry in LA because of ignorance of the law.

Someone educate me please!

I seem to remember from living there for 6 years, that some of the sheriffs, and judical there really tended to make their own rules about a lot of stuff.

Caution is the word in that state, Napoleanic law, was the basis of Louisiana law, which is considerable different than most of the rest of the US.

Good link , however, I am still unclear about resturaunts. I don't understand the Class A permit to retail sale alcohgolic beverages for consumption.

I also do not know what kind of signage (assuming there must be some) can signify the business doesn't want any guns in there.
