I am looking to buy a .44 mag and was wanting some input from my taurusarmed friends on what they thought was a good but not to expensive .44 mag.

What purpose will it be used for? Do you want lighter weight for carry or longer barrel, all-steel for hunting?

Yes Sir, I agree really depends on what the purpose of the gun will be.
In my mind there are really very few enjoyable things that one can do with a 44 magnum, lets see now? carry- NO, shoot?-no, buy ammo for it? no! tell your work buddies that you got a 44 mag?--ahh there we go!
