I haven't verified it but supposedly there will only be 500 of these released. It's a gorgeous gun but there is one feature that I thought some folks here might find interesting.

Did you notice the interesting little feature on it? I just thought it might be interesting to Taurus folks, especially 92/99 fans.

It's interesting that Beretta moved the safety back down to the frame like the original Beretta 92. If my 92FS would have been set up that way, I never would have gotten rid of it.

I don't even think it looks that nice... I see they finally moved to a frame mounted safety though.

I think it looks weird with that brick for a rear sight and the funky peak in slide cutout. The frame mounted safety looks like an after thought. Kind of ugly for a "commemorative".

My main point was noticing the frame mounted safety as the slide mounted safety has been the bane of the Beretta 9* for so long.
