Just picked this up today, ordered it last week. I've been reading on here and learning about these guns, this is my first 9mm. I put 50 rounds through it (blazer) with zero problems.

Anyway here's some gun porn for you:

Re: Just picked up a 24/7 Duo Tone 9mm

just put two more clips through, no ftf or fte. I'd still be shooting if the sun didn't set.

^thanks. I'm happy with it. I put another 100 rounds through it today before I ran out of ammo, still not one problem.

I'm glad I didn't let the taurus bashers scare me away from this gun.

I am glad you saw through the negative comments from Non-Taurus owners. I think they are mostly knocking Taurus trying to justify spending $500+ on a "Superior" brand. LOL

Thanks guys!

I was actually suprised, I thought I was getting the stainless and I went to pick it up and it was the duo-tone, I didn't know I could even get it in this finish since it's only on taurus' site in .40 cal.

I shot my bro's brand new XD too and I'm glad I saved myself $140 and got the Taurus, I think it's more comfortable to shoot.

For my first 9mm I couldn't be happier. Now I just need to fill out my carry permit form.

And as everyone can see from the pics...the Duotone models in .40 and 9mm still have the ribber grip overlay.

^thanks!

I've put 300 rounds through it so far. I had one FTF, not even a mark on it despite me pulling the trigger, but I reloaded it and it went bang so not sure what the deal is there. Only one I've had so far and it shot about 75 rounds after that with no troubles so beats me.

I've got anXD-9 that I love but I held the 24/7 the other day and was impressed the ribber grips feel great how do they feel shooting and do they hold up?

I got a XDsc9mm (for cc when my ccw finally comes. Hate the waiting game) also have the 24/7 9mm. I love them both. Have about 1350 rounds through the 24/7 and it runs perfect. Grips still look brand new. Have been considering getting the 24/7 compact 9mm to carry.

Both are great guns. Can't go wrong with either.
