Well when I first bought my 24/7 I'm not going to lie I hated the trigger and i wasnt at all that happy with the gun. So I bought a Sig 250. Very nice tight gun, but I truly like the 24/7 so much better. I think the Sig was a tad more accurate but the Taurus shoots so much smoother and doesnt shoot shells in your face. I love Taurus so much I traded the Sig for a STAINLESS 1911.

So, what changed your mind about the trigger pull? If you're used to a 1911 I suppose it's quite an adjustment, but I always thought my 24/7 has such a smooth as silk trigger pull.......

yup I traded it in. I only lost about 40 bucks overall. I just began to appreciate the trigger pull after trying a different dao.

I'm guessing your contention with the trigger is it's longer pull; even though on a normal shot the first majority of the pull is just slack making up for the second strike capability. Try leaving the chamber empty, then putting a loaded magazine in, then pulling the trigger twice...nothing will happen but a click, but you'll feel the DA kick in on the second pull, utilizing the full travel of the trigger pull; perhaps leaving you more impressed with the if-it-fails-to-fire function :)
