I hate to say it but I it's pretty much what I expected it to be: a smooth and sleek-looking, but basically redone, PT738. Looking for improvements over the 738, I thought that the trigger would be better but I find it harder to pull.

What am I missing here?

I liked the trigger on the Spectrum better than my TCP's when I played with them Feb 2017. But that is just me. Guess you know why they are discontinuing the TCP. They are very similar. How much ifferent can you get with a small .380.

I have both TCP and Spectrum. Spectrum is easier to rack slide, easier to take down ,way easier to disassemble slide and trigger group. Way better ergonomics, nicer magazines made in Italy. Spectrum has multi strike capabilities which is totally different firing pin mechanism then the TCP, LPC, Kel-Tek. Spectrum is way nicer to shoot. TCP has a proven design that has been around a while. My 2 cents
