OK, nice day, 67 degrees, sunny, light breeze.
My first effort for this month.
9mm. 124gr XTP JHP.

OK, I had to delete the original post due to measuring wrong.
Here is my first try for January.

3-15/16" center to center.

Doing better already. The score isn't great, but the group is smaller.
Score 47, group 3-3/8"

Again with the 124gr XTP JHP.

The 115gr FMJRN aren't shooting quite as tight, getting like 6" groups.

Hey gwk, would you consider a more interesting rimfire target for January? I made this one up, what do you think?

EDIT: deleted target - rings not sized same as black and white target

Why not REAL light bulbs?

I guess if you can afford the ink for your printer, why not?

I'll see if I can find a 10 yard pistol target in black and white.

For your light bulb target I had to scale to 200% and print centered on page.
I measured the 10 and 8 ring and they are very close to what the correct dimension should be, just a fraction off, could be the way it printed, but close enough.

25 ft pistol target, OK for 30 ft I suppose.
25Ft Pistol.jpg

10 meter (~33ft) Olympic air pistol target. 10 ring is really small, I guess they shoot better than we do. 9 ring is the size of the 10 ring on our targets.

Can you change the 8 to 9?
That is the same size as the pistol 9 ring.
The 6 should be 7 and the 2 should be 6.

Is this a target you made or something you downloaded?

Done! :)

Here's a scoring clarification. The idea is to hit the bulb. Miss the bulb and no score.

I like it. Is that for 22 only? I think I'll copy some and take to the range. Unless you have it copyrited. HA :D

It would be for .17 or .22 rimfire.

As to copyright, technically it is because he published it to the forum, but I doubt he'll charge you to use it or sue you if you printed it!;)

Here's My first entry for the January Handgun Shootout, full size Pistol and it's a Taurus.
Model 44 .44 magnum fired single action from 15 yards, I had a couple of 1 3/4 inch groups but this one's the best 50 points all in the X ring.
Looks like only 4 holes but there are actually 3 in the upper right hand group.
I posted the other picture even though it's not My official entry because I had a tight 1 inch group going until I threw the flyer.
