Ok, problem, slide will not come all the way back, needs to come back a 1/4 inch any ideas. Everything seems to function besides that, well I guess thats a big part of it because I can't rack a round.
UPDATE: I emailed keeptinkering and he told me what to adjust, had to sand the front of trigger just a little bit now its all GOOD! To bad its midnight and my neighbors wouldnt like me testing it tonight!
You mentioned sanding the front of the trigger...where exactly at? With my 709 I had to slightly sand the bottom of the trigger as it was rubbing on the trigger guard.
Yep, anytime you start cutting out pretravel and overtravel much more than the factory does you are bound to run into the occasional outlier gun that is on the far end of the manufacturers tolerence range and needs a bit more travel dialed in one direction or another, which is what Danny had going on.
Nevadabob, yours was like Taurus made the trigger guard too small, or the trigger pin down in the frame a bit or something.... You are still the record holder there, and I have yet to hear of another one like that!
