I was at an auction this evening with one goal. A Ruger Redhawk 4" in .45 Colt/ACP. You have to use Moon Clips for the .45 ACP. I got it like new for $525+tax.

However, I should have left right after paying for it. Mostly because there was a S&W 627-5 Performance Center about 2/3rds of the way through the auction. I was curious on what it would go for. It was an 8-shot, slab sided 5" barrel. The LGS near me had a 686+ with a 5" barrel for $799 that I'd been pondering. I should have left, I got it for $575+tax. :bang:
Well, it's not like I will lose anything on the purchase. The owner of the collection took a bath on all the custom revolvers and 1911's. He looked sick at what some of his guns brought. I had to use plastic for the 627. However late it was for me to leave, I ran after paying for it. Too many temptations were left.
