According to my sources, The Magic 8 Ball, tarot cards, and crystal ball, it says that New in box is worth $400 and Excellent Condition was $300. The source is a 2012 price guide book.

This would be a NIB from him.
Hyatt Gun wants $389 for the blue and $397 for the SS.
Guess I know where to go.
Thanks.

Well, I'm sorta stuck with buying in-state, no plastic, no bank account.
So mail order is out of the picture.
Rather give the business to somebody local I know anyway.

I also preferred buying guns from LGS's unless when Bud's had much cheaper prices or when they had something I couldn't find locally.

I got my SS 709 slim for $299 plus tax at my LGS last month. It was on sale for $329 but since I was buying a Ruger LCP380 already the manager walked up and knocked it down to $299. Funny part is he didn't know salesman I knew had already knocked Ruger down to $369 from $399. I just smiled and said how much I appreciated it.

LGS said Taurus is coming out with Generation 2 of the 709, so I'm going to wait.
Clearance prices on what is available now.
Do NOT want to buy another discontinued gun like my 24/7 was.

Now, you're talkin'!

Go for it, brother, because that's a very good price for one fine little pistol!

Seems to me like you are in the ballpark. When I bought my 405, I also looked at, but did not buy, the 740 slim. The 405 cost me $337, and the 740 cost about the same.

Seems like a decent price but keep in mind the stainless don't rust;
