Recently, a friend of mine with old model 65 (I think) decided to do some shade tree gunsmithing. He called me and told me that he had lost a part that was inside the gun when he took it apart. There wasn't much I could do to help him over the phone so I recommended he call the Taurus customer service number.

Anyways, he told me yesterday that they fixed it and it was better than new, 14 days round trip! :)

Yahoo!

P.S. I think he has learned his lesson. :D

You know, after re-reading my own post, I got to thinking:

Ever since the big guns went down to visit the factory, I have noticed more happy Taurus stories in general. Look at what they did for MilPro!

I have a feeling that they read what we write here in the forum and are making improvements all the time. After all, we are the biggest advocates of thier products.

Coincidence? Maybe. Overall, I'm very pleased.
