I have the RCBS primer pocket swage kit. It's part number 9481. I like the kit, it was priced right when I got it and it does exactly what I need it to do. Lots of people poo poo on it, frankly I think they are doing it wrong. I had been using it on an RCBS RS3 press. It was a great little press, but it had a terrible primer disposal situation. I sold it and got myself a Lee Classic Cast. I love it. It's everything.I want in a single stage. So now I have two pieces of equipment that I'm totally happy with that will work together for years, right? Wrong. The ram of the Classic is the same diameter of the cup that dislodged the case from the swager. No problem, RCBS has a set that has a much larger cup that will fit over the ram. Problem, they are discontinued. So I call RCBS and tell them my problem, turns out they don't have anymore large cups that they could even sell me. Now I'm out of luck.
Now I get to my mission, I need to find one of those larger cups. Does anyone have any ideas where I might find one? Do you have one laying around? I'll buy it.
The old discontinued kit is number 57186.
