For me Its a 1911 as primary carry(which one depends on the weather) and a kel-tec p32 or a seecamp lws32 as a BUG for pocket carry.

My primary is a subcompact XD9. If I'm carrying a second gun its usually a M650 in a coat pocket for ease of access. Before I got m M650 my M85 covered it.

On duty----primary is a Glock 22 backed up by a Glock 27.

Off duty---it varies---usually my XD-45 ACP compact backed up by my S&W 340 or Ruger SP101

1911 (5 inch) or XD .45 tactical (4") usually unless in a tux or close cut (think Brioni) jacket then Walther PPK/S in .380 usually in a shoulder rig. A high ride or s.o.b. holster in hot summer.

If 1911 or Xd = PPK/S in ankle holster. Sometimes Colt Officer's model in ankle
I usually wear pant or chinos instead of dress jeans. I have large thighs and calves so my pant (dress slacks many call them) or chinos are loose at the bottom. A lot faster getting to ankle rig for me than many.

tex45acp, I'm curious... Is that the serial # of your PT145 cut into the slide just below the ejector? Mine only has the Serial # located on the frame, just above the backstrap.

I have begun (occasionally) to carry a BUG. When I do this, my primary is a H&K P7M8 on my belt. The BUG is my M85 in my pants or coat pocket.

As it is very cold here in MI right now, so the coats are heavy and well secured. The mode that I have found advantageous is to keep the BUG in the chest pocket (the opening of which faces the centerline of the coat) making drawing while seated in the car a breeze.

Quick update here. I got my PT-111 back from Taurus and it is working great, so it has taken Primary carry duty along with the Charter depending if I want the revolver or the semi that day and PF-9 if I need smaller primary. Bugs remain the same as previous post.

When my permit arrives my primary will be my PT140 or a S&W 40, with a Kel-Tec P11 as bug. At least until I get my 1911
