We have the gun show at the local armory this week end. Same old stuff, Jack Links beef jerky table, a lot of knife tables, the Hell's Angels T-shirt table and a gun safe manufacturer. Two weeks ago at the Dixie Classic gun show at the State fair grounds in Raleigh, a person entered with a shotgun that he wanted to sell. While taking it out of the case for the Security officer to check in, it went off and hit three people. They didn't die, fortunately. Why / how could a person take a firearm to a gun show, or, any where else without checking to see if it is loaded? Happens a lot more than it should.

That same question was brought up a short while back , having to do with nobody getting massacred
at a gun range. Well, sad to say, we all know what happened to Mr. Chris Kyle. Indeed, that was very sad;
& I don't want to bring up any more bad memories about that.

But, I just had a very strangely far-fetched thought: I wouldn't put it past the far left to put a plant in one
of these gun shows, with a couple of loaded semi-auto assault rifles, & start shooting up the place!

Just to add fuel to the already burning out of control inferno of gun control! Even to the point of
somehow allowing this shooter to escape & disappear. I know it sounds like something out of a crazy novel
made into a movie. But the way these democrats are thinking, I would not put anything past them.

These people in the white house, & everyone who is hanging on their coattails, are the madmen & women.
And they scare the living hell out of me. They are capable of anything. In truth, they are the
ones that are unhinged! :icon_rolleyes:

There was a gun show this weekend at bell county expo(lone star gun show) and holy crap was it packed. We waited just about 45min to get in. Elbow to elbow.

A looong time ago there were deals to be had a gun shows. Mostly now it is FFL dealers peddling their wares, with of course a smattering of mom-n-pops selling everything but a kitchen sink. The current panic buying/hoarding that WE are creating has brought out the worst in a lot of vendors. Folks are wiping out the shelves at Walmart just to put the ammo up for bid at online auction sites.

I would still say a few hours wandering the aisles at a gun show beats the snot out of a few hours at work - lol - so for the people watching alone they are often worth the price of admission.

imo no. Everything was marked up. 50 rounds of 9mm fmj cost 49.99 box of 100 99.99. Guns were running maybe 200 plus more that you pay at academy.

I had never heard of someone getting shot at a gun show until this year.

Someone got shot at a Raleigh, NC show few weeks ago and I think three people got
shot the same weekend at other shows in the country.

40 years of nothing then 4 in one weekend. Makes you wonder.
