Identification help
Got this in a trade, posted this on another forum already but I'm hoping here might be more helpful.
"Traded for this the other day, looks kinda worn out but the trigger is smooth and it seems sound. Haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. The problem is I have no idea what model it is.
Its a 38 special with adjustable sights. There is a stamping on the crane and the butt that says G and 686 (or 989?). Running the serial number through Taurus's database turns up nothing."
