4 inch.357 mag. 6 shot.


Closest thing to a serial number I can find.


Sorry, very blurry. Says 245R.


Also blurry, but says 66.
Did the online chat with Taurus. Even though it says Taurus on it, they say it's not a Taurus. I had a similar revolver about 25 years ago. Need a model number if possible to help find a holster and maybe a speed loader.

It appears to be a first generation Taurus Model 66. Any holster designed for it or a K or L framed Smith & Wesson should work just fine with this revolver.

Nice early Model 66. Who was the importer? Hard to see in the picture but it looks like Taurus Miami FL.

Taurus in Miami has a hard time when it comes to the older models. According to them my oldest PT-99 does not exist. Says right on in Taurus Miami, FL. They pretty much don't have any records of the older serial number format Taurus used, or at least they are not uploaded in their system.
