Asked PH to go to the store today after her hair appointment, HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!

I spend less than $60 for a weeks worth of groceries and she spent $170!!!!!!!

No idea what she bought....

Look at what is important at the moment. She is cooking, soon be time to eat, if you be good maybe you will get to eat some of what's cooking. Go to the kitchen, suck up and at least pretend to be a good husband and listen. Think pleasant thoughts like life is good, supper is on the way.

The most important question has yet to be brought up so I will go there. Did you tell her how good her hair looks? Yes I know that can be a mine field - but it seems to be a salient point since you are bringing up a larger than expected expense and she is cooking dinner. Tread carefully - I am going to get my popcorn and watch the sparks fly.

Want to see if I'm the only one this happens to:

WE go grocery shopping.
WE get food for everyone in the family, including me.
I see it as we put it in the car.
SHE puts the food away once we get home.
I can no longer find anything we got for ME.
About 2 wks later, I find all MY food crammed behind everyone else's food items.
If refrigerated, my food is often bad by then.

OR, we have dinner, and the wife puts away leftovers for the next day.
If it's something I ALONE like, then it disappears, until much later, hidden behind bowls and containers full of things I can n longer identify.

I don't have those problems, I just put it away myself, hidden in the back, then I know right where it is. I also tend to hit the store on my way home from work, taht way I don't have to worry about things disappearing. You know that bag of shredded cheese that was an important part of the days meal, you just bought it last night, get home today and it is gone.
