I ordered the Millenium G2 for 199.99 from Palmetto State Armory and I felt like this would be a good one to start out with. Should I be worried about the quality with price being so cheap? Can y'all tell me some things that I should look for when I open it up?

I watched all of the Youtube videos on the PT111 and stayed up all night too. My wife thought I was watching porn! LOL I liked what I saw and handled one in the Gun Shop. I guess it just seemed like too good a deal for such a good handgun. This is my first purchase so I guess Im worried for nothing. Thanks

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the PT111 G2! You've got the Taurus best bang for the buck pistol especially at that price. It's an excellent handgun for concealed carry as well as home defense.

As far as quality/price is concerned, the G2 IS a quality firearm!!! I have owned many handguns over the past few years and the G2 is on par, if not BETTER in quality then some others that i have owned. I'm not sure why they are being sold at a "clearance" price, but the G2 is worth much, much more then $199. When I saw them being offered at this low price, I didn't hesitate for even a second to buy one!!! I got mine from Bud's a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier. In the past week or so, I have put more then 400 rounds thru mine with absolutely NO issues of any kind!! As a matter of fact, the G2 is now my EDC.....

LOL Too funny! I've been the same way trying to figure out what gun to buy with my bonus. I haven't gotten to shoot the PT111 yet. That's the only thing holding me back. The price is unbelievable. I'm tempted to order two! Hopefully get to the LGS this weekend and shoot one. Hopefully the prices stay down a little longer.

The gun is not aware of what it is being sold for, it will function just as well as it would when it cost more. Being on sale doesn't change the design or mechanics.
You should only worry about how this gun raises the bar on value for your gun dollar, because now you (and most of us) are spoiled.

I just did the same last Wednesday and its Saturday with my PSA order still reading processing. Just wondering how long did it take for you guys to see something was happening at PSA? I know the expectations shouldn't be to high (especially for the price) with shipping and handling but just curious what others experience has been?

Y'all are right! This is a great handgun! I'm glad that I made this purchase. I picked it up yesterday and inspected it as suggested and I was very satisfied. It didn't come with a cleaning brush so I went by my dads to get a cleaning kit from him and he was so impressed that he cleaned it for me. He's a die hard 1911 man and now he's getting one. I like this Taurus and am looking into getting other models soon. Thank yall!
