Nice lady at the range let me shoot her PT111 G2 yesterday. Just 5 rounds at 21 feet. First shot was a bullseye, as was second and third. Fourth and fifth were a little low but in the area. Wow!

Trigger safety felt oddly more pronounced than a Glock or Springfield, but the gun was very nice to shoot, recoil was minimal, slide was easy to rack, and the sights were easy to see.

I think I will buy one.

Great gun! New nomenclature now refers to them as the G2C. And I'm not sure why that is. Someone usually has them on sale for $200-210.

I think the new name is because of the elimination of the TSS and maybe a little damage control

The new ones don't have the TSS? Really?

The 111G2 is a great pistol; it's shot the way ColoradoJim describes for me on the odd occasion I've been able to shoot one. Great ergonomics; the whole package just works together.

I thought this thread was going to be about carpentry...
