I picked up this... Charter Pit Bull #74020 and really like it. 50 rounds down range without a single hiccup. Recoil is easily handled, as the rubber grips are comfy and provide a full grip. It's a bit big for pocket carry, though it can be done with virtually no printing.

Congratulations! Charter Arms, like Taurus, had a few issues at one time that were exaggerated into a
undeserved reputation for poor quality. The new Charter Arms revolvers are nice guns, especially when
you consider what you pay for them. I know I like my Bulldog in .44 Special!

The only problem I've encountered is a holster problem; I can't find one made for the Pit Bull. Charter has some on their website, but I really want something like an Alien Gear IWB. Oh well. I'll keep lookin', and, in the meantime, shootin'!
