The 10/22 carbine reminds me of the old Remington Nylon 66. My brother had one, first semi-auto I ever shot. I used to hunt crows with it, that thing was a blast to shoot and really accurate. I made a lot of really long shots with that rifle. ...good times!

I've looked hard at the Ruger banana mags and this one you linked to as well, and I'll probably buy something like that in the future....there is something to be said though, for the sleek lines of the rifle without a mag protruding down below the bottom of the stock.

I agree 100%, I do have a 25-round mag, the drum mag intrigued me though, I really wonder how well it would cycle.
