The Sooners aren't the only team in the state, y'know?
I had a Taurus 66 .357 Magnum back in the mid to late '80's when the right recoil shield was part of the sideplate. I ground the grooves off the wide trigger with a Dremel and used it as a carry gun for years. It went away in a trade where I ended up with a S&W 629 .44 Magnum. In the years since, I haven't really regretted the trade, but the 66 was a good gun.
I bought a Taurus 85UL .38 Special in stainless several years ago and stupidly traded it and some cash for the latest, greatest, littlest 9mm. However, a few weeks ago, I realized I didn't ever carry the 9mm and sold it. Took my well-gotten gains and went to my local gun shop. Wouldn't you know, my gun guy had a dang near new Taurus 85UL .38 Special in stainless in the used gun case, and I bought it for around $250.00! It's good to be home, guys.
