That was a very large fish indeed! But, I am not sure about the accuracy of the weighing of the fish. I don't think one guy could hold the scale and the fish to get an accurate weight, like was shown. ......That would have made for a large fish fry!

Yeah, I was thinkin' for a fish that big ('specially a cat)....298# sounds a little light.

UPI headline writer fails at reading comprehension. "Italian twins reel in 298-pound River Po catfish." Subheadeer says, "Dino and Dario Ferrari said it took them 40 minutes to reel in the 280-pound catfish...." Article says, ".... they believe the giant catfish, which fell short of the 298-pound record caught in 2010 ...."

Still an awesome fish.
