As the subject states, I'm the owner of a new two-tone 92 with a rail. I love everything about the gun so far. The one thing that is giving me problems is finding a holster that will fit her. I live in Montana so it's hard enough to find Taurus guns, let alone holsters and other accessories. (had to buy the 92 off gunbroker because there are none around here) So I'm severely limited in my ability to go and handle a holster in person before I buy it. The only possible lead I have is a holster for the Beretta 92 Vertec MIGHT fit my 92 w/ the rail? Can anyone confirm this? If not, any idea on where to find a holster that will fit my gun? I'm not picky about the style, not a carry gun so just need something that will fit. Thanks in advance

The M12 Universal Military Holster will carry it nicely, rail and all. It isn't a CCW holster or even a tactical holster because it ain't fast!

If you want more "color" options...

I carried an M1911A1 in one before we were issued Berettas with only four years left in my career. The weapon is secure in the holster, and there are tons of carry options.

Found this on the Bianchi site, too. It'll carry your gun with a light attached!

+1 for the Pro*Tech holster. I just recieved one for my 92 and bought it for a rail mounted laser. Very well made and great price. I'm gonna get one for my M&P40 also.

I've got a Mitch Rosen leather shoulder holster rig for the Beretta 92. We had to stretch it out a bit with the rail. Really tight, but it's getting better. Just breaking it in keeping the weapon in the holster and practice drawing it.

Probably going to pick up the Fobus as well.

ADDENDUM 12/29:

Picked up the Fobus E2 Roto holster at a gun show in Columbus today. Really like it, though at this point, in order to get a smooth draw, the tension screw to adjust the pressure on the trigger guard is VERY loose. I'll experiment more with tension settings, as I'm trying to determine if it's more comfortable to use it as a cross draw, kant it way forward in an FBI style, or just keep it vertical. It's a perfect fit with the rail though, and it's a comfortable paddle.
