Here is one store that has some options for you: America's Gun Store, LLC : Rossi 972 Holster - 6". In addition, Ace Holsters makes a bunch of different models, and might have one that will work for you: Ace Case Manufacturing, LLC. I found these on Gunbroker and eBay too:

The nylon holsters will be less expensive, but will wear sooner. Any "K" frame holster for a 6 inch barrel should fit your 972.
I use Uncle Mike's, Blackhawk, and Pro-Tech so far. I think the P-T are more sturdy and so I have 4 of them.
I like the removable thumb-retention/ ambidextrous models. I have a couple of leather holsters for my semi-autos, but never use them. Besides that, when a nylon holster gets "ripe", I just throw it in the clothes washer.
