Guess HI-POINT is looking for ways to get me upset.
They are vying to be the Bud Light of the gun industry.

They won't be in any John Wick movies for sure. Ugly as heck, but the sad part is they do function, and have about the best warranty in the business. But these are even more hideous than the Canik Miami nights series.

They must be sitting around thinking about how they can make their handguns even uglier!

If you're comparing these colors to Bud light, you probably won't like the Sig rainbow finish either.

Never thought I’d ever get a hipoint, but, after shooting one, I ended up getting one of the 9mm TS carbines. Had 1 problem out of the box, a tiny metal spur on the bolt. After 3 light passes with a file, I haven’t had any problems since. I later dropped the innards into a Hightower Armory bullpup frame. It actually improved the balance alot. Only thing I don’t like is the single stack magazines.

not something i would buy, but i do appreciate they are in only Red, White & Blue. ......no rainbow theme. i will buy a YEET cannon when one becomes available at a good price.

Ugly, BUT they can fight. Tough guns for sure. Probably outlast most of the guns from posters on this tread. Thinking about one now in 10mm.

Yeah they are. The bullpups aren’t that bad, tho.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for sure. I think an old, beat-up backhoe is prettier than any Ferrari but I see thing's for what they can do, not so much their outward appearance. A Ferrari can't hurt nothin' but I could destroy the world with a backhoe.

Bad guy after being shot from a High Point 10mm and entering hell.

I recall back in the 70's a guy used a world war 2 collectable to shoot someone who broke into his house (can't recall if it was a luger or a P-38) and of course the local police had to confiscate the gun for their investigation, which where I live is standard procedure. What is not standard is when the investigation was over and he tried to get the gun back, they couldn't find it for some reason. :( Hi point wasn't around then, only marginally reliable ring of fire guns, but had Hi Point existed I'm guessing he would've wished he had used one of those instead of a collectable.
While there's still a chance a Hi Point might come up "missing" if it does it's not as much of a valuable loss.

I'm more likely to buy a HiPoint than a Bud Light.

I'm definitely more inclined to buy a Hi-Point than another Smit & Wetone. Took the brand new, way over-priced 15-22 to the range for its first outing......good thing I had a Hi-Point with me so I at least had something to shoot.

First pistol I ever bought was a Hi-Point 9mm......a brick, a boat anchor, an ugly red headed stepchild for sure........but, I put over 2000 rounds through it and never had a misfire, FTF, FTE, nadda.
I tried to carry it, but it was SOOO heavy......it was so heavy that it had 0 muzzle flip, even with +P ammo. Bought it for $100 and sold it 2 years later for $200......
