Hey from northeast Tennessee

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start off right and tell a little about myself. I'm a 21 yr old guy that is fairly new to handguns so please disregard the stupid questions I may ask lol. I'm originally from Myrtle Beach, SC and moved to northeast TN in 2011. Yes I moved from MB and of all crazy reasons one could think of, I was chasing a girl. I am now 6 months happily married to her and wouldn't change it for anything. We are both practicing nurses and love every minute of it. All my family is still in MB so my wife and I are frequent travelers, and I will soon be looking into a CCP (when I can afford it all). I have shot many guns in my life but never owned any until recently. My first was a Hi-Point 9mm and I have now had a Taurus 709 slim for a couple months. I must say that the difference of the two is like night and day lol. My questions about the Taurus brand all together were answered through this forum before I was a member and now I am thoroughly pleased. My 709 has performed perfectly from out of the box, and I couldn't have asked for a better first Taurus purchase. I expect I will learn a lot from the experienced shooters/owners here and hope maybe I can help someone with something I know too.
