Site newbie from WV here. I have been thinking about getting my CCW permit for a few months. Being that a long gun or a Hi-Point .45 can't be concealed(and some would say can't be trusted) very well ;D I stopped in my local gun shop last week. After fiddling around with different guns for about an hour- Sig, Glock, and Kimber. I decided on the PT-140 Mil Pro. It was the only gun that actually felt good to me and fit my hand. I didn't bring it home yet as I just bought a new .17HMR rifle a couple weeks ago and my wife...
I've heard all the negativity and all the praise of these pieces and decided to look past the negative. The guys at the shop spoke highly of the Mil Pro, and one uses the .40 as his CCW so if it is good enough for him, it should be good enough for me as they have not steered me in the wrong direction yet.
Happy to be here and look forward to conversing with you folks.
