I am new to the site and one acronym I have seen that I do not understand is DOA? If someone could help me out that would be great.... Also if there are "frequently used" acronyms that would be appreciated

DOA usually means Double Action Only. It used to be used with guns that needed the trigger pull for the hammer to move, but the hammer had no way of locking back or grip for thumb cocking. Now it also covers striker firing guns that use at least a partial amount of the trigger to finish pulling back the striker. It's kind of hard to judge the full meaning of the term now since so many of the striker firing guns are just a bit different from each other.

DOA means "Dead on Arrival." DAO means "Double Action Only." Which acronym did you want explained?

AR = "Armalite Rifle" not "assault rifle" coined by the left. Also "BFG" means biggest finest gun. ;)
